Where's my sticker?Find the model number on your fridge, washer, dryer, dishwasher or oven
Every appliance has a model sticker, usually somewhere you never look. Find it below, take one photo, and text it to us with what it's doing. The tech shows up knowing your exact machine.
Text us the sticker
Three things in one text.
That's all a tech needs to come prepared. No app, no upload: your phone's messages.
The whole sticker
One shot, flash on, so the model and serial numbers are both readable.
The code, if there is one
A photo of the display, or type it in. Look the code up while you wait.
What it's doing, and where
One line in your words, plus the city and whether it's a condo, townhouse or house.
Pick your appliance.
The yellow tag is the usual spot; the dashed ring is the backup.
Where the sticker is, appliance by appliance
On a fridge
- Open the fresh food door and look at the inside side wall, high up or beside the crisper drawers.
- No luck? Pop off the grille at the very bottom front. Some brands put it there.
- Built in or panel ready: open the top grille above the doors.
On a washer
- Front loader, including stacked 24 inch units: open the door and look on the frame around the opening.
- Top loader: lift the lid and check under it, or on the back panel.
- Can't reach the back in a closet? A photo of the front and the brand logo is a fine start.
On a dryer
- Open the door and look up and around the inside of the opening, on the frame.
- Not there? Check the inner edge of the door itself, then the back panel.
- Ventless or combo unit: the sticker is usually around the door, same as a washer.
On a dishwasher
- Open the door and look at the left or right side of the tub opening.
- Or along the top edge of the door, the part you only see when it's open.
- Panel ready: same places. The cabinet panel hides the outside, not the edges.
On a range or wall oven
- Open the oven door and look along the frame around the opening, often low on one side.
- Range with a bottom drawer: pull it out and check the frame behind it.
- Cooktop only: it's usually underneath. A photo of the brand and the knobs is enough to start.
The others
No drawing yet; here's where to look.
Microwave
Open the door and look on the frame around the opening. If it isn't there, check the back or the side panel.
Freezer
Upright: inside, on a side wall near the top, like a fridge. Chest freezer: on the back, or low on one end.
Stacked pair or combo
Two machines, two stickers, each on the frame around its own door. An all-in-one combo has one, around the door.
Get the whole label in one shot, flash on. Model and serial both help: the model tells us how the machine is built, and the serial often tells us how old it is. Can't find it at all? Send the front and the brand logo. We'll work from that.
Questions
About the sticker.
Why do you want a photo of the sticker?
The model number tells us exactly how your machine is built, so the tech comes prepared for it. The serial number often tells us how old it is, which matters when you're deciding whether it's worth fixing.
The sticker is worn off or I can't reach it. Now what?
Send a photo of the front of the machine, the brand logo and the display. That's enough to start, and the tech finds the plate at the visit.
Is the model number the same as the serial number?
No. The model number says which machine it is; the serial number is that one unit. Both are on the same label. Get the whole label in one shot.
My washer and dryer are stacked. Which sticker?
Each machine has its own, usually on the frame around its own door. Send the one that's acting up, or both.
Found it?
Text it with what it's doing, call, or fill in the building card. We tell you straight, repair or replace, before any work starts.
Card received.
We'll text you to set the time, and sort the elevator, parking and certificate with you before we come.
